The International Committees bring together experts in museum specialties and are represented by their Presidents on the ICOM Advisory Committee. They are instances of reflection on issues related to museums and their practices, they set professional standards for museums, exchange scientific information, develop collaborations with other organizations and prepare recommendations for ICOM members.
